FAPAS 2024 Annual Plan Released, New Cosmetics Project Brings Highlights

The Fapas International Laboratory Proficiency Test was introduced to China by Zhongjian Weikang in 2002, and it has been 20 years since then. As the agent of FAPAS in China, Zhongjian Weikang has been providing various food and environment related capability verification projects and quality control samples to hundreds of laboratories in China.

In 2024, the FAPAS capability verification project will be further expanded, adding a verification project for cosmetics, including two major categories: physical and chemical, and microbiological. For details, please refer to the 2024 annual plan list.

Regarding FAPAS

FAPAS ® （Food Analysis Performance AssessmentScheme）, It was organized in 1990 by the Food and Environment Research Institute (FERA), the executive agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) of the UK government. Recognized by UKAS. This program has been widely adopted by food analysis laboratories, which are currently the providers of analytical laboratory level testing worldwide, and FAPAS ® The range of testing materials provided is currently very wide in the world. Among them, Fapas (physical and chemical testing), Fepas (microbiological testing), Cosm (cosmetic testing), Gemma (genetic modification testing), Leap (water quality testing), etc. include 25 testing categories and more than 400 testing rounds. FAPAS ® Maintain close connections with over 2000 laboratories in more than 100 countries worldwide.
