1. BACKGROUND

iCheck®-Cadmium strip is lateral flow immunochromatographic assay based on a competitive immunoassay format. With iCheck® strip reader, it measures 0-100ppb of cadmium in water.

3. Materials required but not provided:

1) 200 and 1000µL precision micropipette

2) iCheck® Strip reader (with ZERO card and Machine Calibration)

3) Thermostat

4) Timer

5) Distilled water or pure water

6) 10mL Extraction tube

4.INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS

1) Test range: 0-100ppb, LOQ 5.0ppb.

2) If there is no line in control zone, the test is invalid and the sample should be re-tested by using a valid test strip.

3) If reading is 100 ppb, the sample water should be further diluted in pure water such that the diluted sample reading results are in a range of 0-100ppb and reanalyzed to obtain accurate results. The dilution factor must be included when the final result is calculated.
